PurpleSensor is a tool that identifies when continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) produce noisy data, which can affect insulin dosing decisions, either by a person or an automated insulin delivery (AID) system. When you upload a CGM export file and generate a report, it is produced entirely within your session and is not stored after you leave. You can download the reports, but after you leave (or your session times out), the data is removed.
No information about you, your glucose data, or even the sensor IDs is stored. Only the health of the sensors is saved. They are then combined with submissions from other users to form an aggregated map of sensor types and dates that the public can view to evaluate the quality of different sensors at different times.
Since the site is currently new, there is insufficient data to present aggregated results. Once there is, they will be made available on this site.
